Solution Sales Executive
We are looking for a Solutions Sales Executive with a demonstrated track record of success in selling a complex marketing technology solution. The primary mission of the Solution Sales Executive is to generate new business revenue by closing qualified leads.
This position will be supported by a comprehensive marketing and pre-sales technical support organization. The position will be based in Columbus, Ohio, but will require frequent travel around the US.
Job Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop and close qualified leads
- Develop relationships and rapport with senior marketing, advertising and technology executives at Fortune 2500 companies
- Meet quarterly and annual sales quota objectives
- Manage and prioritize opportunities
- Understand the ClearSaleing sales process and value proposition
- Identify and meet with key opportunity contacts to determine budget/decision authority and the likelihood of a solution match
- Gather information to prepare and present proposals
- Negotiate contracts
- Enter and update opportunity information using ClearSaleing’s internal SFA system
- Forecast future revenue accurately based on realistic opportunity assessments and deal staging algorithm
Job Requirements
- 5+ years experience selling complex technology and marketing/advertising solutions
- Strong understanding of online marketing technologies, companies and programs
- Consistent success at meeting or exceeding ambitious revenue targets
- Experience selling at the “C” level
- Fortune 2500 customer focus
- Experience in a combination of large and small company preferred
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment
- Average size of deals closed for past 3 years 100K plus
- Consistent achievement of annual quota objectives
- Experience in recognizing and selling to relationship-oriented customers
- Exceptional communication and presentations skills
- Experience with the Solutions Selling and Power Base Selling methodologies
